The new owners of Rocket Dynamic Systems and Maximum Thrust Rocketry, Dan and Laurie Isdell, are greatly saddened to report that John Kerrigan, their friend and the previous owner of RDS and MTR, has passed away. John suffered a massive heart attack at about 1:00AM on April 15 2005. He was only 47 years of age. John's enthusiasm for the sport of High Power Rocketry was infectious, and he particularly enjoyed creating new rocket designs which he could share with the public as kits. He had hoped that the sale of RDS/MTR would give him more time to devote to those designs, and to flying some of his own builds. Those of us who knew him will long remember his friendly helpfulness, honesty, integrity and brilliance. John's untimely passing is a loss to all of us in the rocketry world, and he will be greatly missed. Condolences may be sent to his wife Lynda Kerrigan and their four daughters, in care of Rocket Dynamic Systems, 3233 Simberlan Drive, San Jose, CA 95148.

With the introduction of this new web site, we have completely integrated the Maximum Thrust Rocketry line, acquired in 2000, into the RDS line. The MTR rockets are a perfect complement to the RDS line and now form the Level III component of our product lineup. We can now supply kits ranging from mid-power through Level III High Power Rocketry and beyond.

Many of our kits span certification levels, so you can start with your current certification level and push the envelope to the next level with a larger motor.

We will continue to offer the same high quality and performance that you have come to know from both RDS and MTR.
